About Me
I was born in Recife (PE), Brazil, in 1972, where I spent most of my childhood. In 1983 I moved to Fortaleza (CE), Brazil, where I finished my schooling years and started my academic career.
Academic Background
I got a BSc in Computer Science at the Federal University of Ceará (Computer Science Department) in 1993 and an MSc in Informatics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (Department of Informatics) in 1996. Later, in 2004, I gained a PhD in Computing at the University of Leeds (School of Computing).
