Multi-Mode Resource Availability Cost Problem
Lettiery D'Lamare Portela Procópio, M.Sc. in Systems and Computing
The project scheduling has been a constant target of research, a fact that also influenced by its great
application in real problems such as the construction of bridges and large buildings, production in industries,
load routing projects and, more recently, in computing in clouds. One such current issues is the
Multi-Mode Resource Availability Cost Problem (MMRACP) was inspired by the need to balance the use of
renewable resources with the total time (makespan), by scheduling the activities with its various implementations
execution modes present in the project.
In order to improve the methodology of comparison of the algorithms proposed for the MRACP, a set of instances with cost by resource availability was adapted from the PSPLIB.
